We had a quite snow on last weekend! Hope everyone was safe and warm. Bob had to cancel couple of gigs because of the weather. Well, that’s part of Montana life! I am adding a message from Bob below. MESSAGE FROM BOB BOWMAN

I just want to encourage you musicians to come out and support your fellow music citizens. I only see very few of you out in Montana  and thanks to you that do. You know who you are. I’ve lived and in played in NYC, LA &KC and it really helps the scene. Noticed it particularly in KC. I myself  love to go out and hear and see folks. I don’t care what style of music. As Duke Ellington said “there’s only two kinds of music. Good and bad.”

The group of 5 high school students from Park High is now performing  as “The Five” at Uncorked wine bar on Wednesdays in Livingston from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.!! Our wonderful guitarist Craig Hall has been mentoring them for more than a year and they just received ‘best combo’ award in the recent Livingston Jazz Fest that featured high school groups from across the state. Tumbledown House
San Francisco songwriting deviants, Tumbledown House, have never been easy to describe. Modern speakeasy, saloon jazz, parlor pop, and Tom Waits in a cocktail dress are some of the terms used, but none of these successfully convey the band’s incomparable ability to fuse vintage sounds and themes from yesteryear with the modern instrumentation, refreshingly original compositions, and raw energy that we expect from today’s performers.
