On Friday, March 22nd at the Staggering Ox in Helena is hosting the Wilbur Rehmann Quartet with Ken Nelson on keyboards, Dennis Ferriter on bass, Gerry Secher on drums and Wilbur on saxophones. It will be a great swinging affair with up tempo jump tunes and blues with some slow drag ballads. You can grab your favorite microbrew or wine and one of the Ox famous sandwiches or hot dishes and enjoy the music. So come on down!

Blue Note Records was established 80 years ago in 1939. Since its founding, Blue Note Records has been an important player in the development of jazz. As such, we’d like to pay tribute to the label in a performance of music from the classic Blue Note recordings of the 1950s and 1960s. We have established a stellar group of musicians to perform arrangements of music from groups like the Jazz Messengers, Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Dexter Gordon, and Lee Morgan. Join us to celebrate the long-lasting legacy of Blue Note Records.
