Bob and I have been super busy and I hadn’t had a chance to do this week’s live jazz info. Sorry! I bet many of you already know about Plonk Bozeman has decided to discontinue live jazz. The date of the last jazz night was originally on August 21st but the situation changed and no live jazz as of now. I feel sad and bitter about this. Because my late husband Kelly hosted live jazz for long time. While Kelly was very ill Ann Tappan, Craig Hall, Adam Greenberg continued the music. Then Bob took over booking. Lots of great memories and great music at Plonk. Nothing stays the same and when that happens we have to keep moving.
Hey, there is a good news! Fantastic restaurant & bar Open Range in downtown Bozeman will have live jazz on Thursdays! The first live jazz will start on September 19th. There will be more details soon!

ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT AT SAFFRON TABLE
Woodsmoke Jazz, from Bozeman, Montana, has been smokin’ standards and original tunes under the Big Sky since 2009. Featuring smokemeister Royce Wilkinson, on reeds; Marvin Lansverk, on trumpet; Ken Bishop, on bass and vocals, Bruce Kriskovich on guitar, and newest member Kyle Jennaway on drums. Kris Olsen also sits in with us as well, on percussion. This is sure to be one of the summers most festive bands featured on the patio.

The 9th annual Summer SLAM Festival will return to Bogert Park in Bozeman, August 3rd & 4th, 2019.
