FOR YOUR LISTENING PLEASURE
As jazz fans around Bozeman area know my husband and jazz bassist Bob Bowman has brought his old musician friends to Montana. These two wonderful musicians and Bob’s great friends, trumpeter Clay Jenkins and drummer Steve Houghton have visited the Treasure State in different occasions to perform and teach. Both of them are internationally renowned as great jazz musicians. Recently Steve Houghton released an album “HUBBUB” as Steve Houghton Quartet featuring Clay Jenkins on trumpet, Steve Allee on piano, and Bob Bowman on bass. Steve Allee is also very appreciated jazz pianist/composer/educator by jazz fans and musicians. This is such a great album filled with fluent, warm, and sincere sounds.
