This is the last week of 2020. Bob and I will stay home as we have most of time this year and enjoy the beauty of winter of Montana. Hope you are having a wonderful, safe, and well Holiday Season.
To musician friends, send me your Facebook page, YouTube channel/video, link to your albums, online performance Ads, music lessons, where to follow you, etc. I want to feature them on my newsletter!
As I mentioned in my last couple of newsletters, I printed a small amount of my first photo book. My first baby steps. It’s called “雪景 – Sekkei. 空景 – Kukei.” If you are interested, please scroll down.

FOR YOUR LISTENING PLEASURE

Our friend and one of the biggest jazz fans in Bozeman Greg recommended to check jazz singer Judy Niemack. Judy, who lives in Berlin, is a jazz singer, composer, lyricist and educator who performs regularly and teaches vocal improvisation throughout the world. Greg sent me a YouTube video of her singing of “The Island” by Ivan Lins with Jeanfrançois Prins on guitar, Dan Haerle on piano, Bob Bowman on bass, and Jack Mouse on drums.
Here is another one. Judy sings “For All We Know” by J. Fred Coots.

I have shared on my newsletter about the radio show “B&K Cafe” by Bill McGlaughlin and Karrin Allison. Bill is a classic musician, composer, and conductor with a variety of orchestras, from the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra to the Kansas City Symphony. Karrin Allison is an internationally acclaimed singer, pianist, composer, teacher, and bandleader with 15 CD’s and 5 Grammy Nominations. Their show “B&K Cafe” is available online and you can listen to all the programs on WWFM website! The latest show (Dec 18th) was an eclectic Holiday Show and they featured music from Bach, to Karrin’s, INTERSTRING, Bill McGlaughlin’s orchestra composition ‘Solstice’ and Louis Armstrong.

PHOTO BOOK “SEKKEI. KUKEI”

My photo book “雪景 – Sekkei. 空景 – Kukei.” for sale!
To friends who bought my 2021 calendar, thank you so much for your support! I printed a small amount of my first photo book which are my first baby steps.
About the title. Japanese “Sekkei” means snowscape. “Sekkei” is combination of these words: Yuki (snow) and Kei (scenery, landscape view, scene.) ”Kukei”, I made up this word to go with “Sekkei”. I used a combination of the words: Ku (sky, space) and Kei to title my photos of sky.

So here are my humble works, “Sekkei. Kukei”. (11.5 x 8.5 inch, 22 pages)
