Bob and I are in Kansas City, MO. Temperature and music scene are HOT here!!
Here is a message from Bob Bowman.
“I had a wonderful musical experience with Peter Schlamb and John Stowell few weeks ago in Billings and Bozeman. Such amazing world class musicians.
Matt Villinger, Brian Steever, Ben Markley and Steve Martin (no not the banjo player, but a late Coltrane inspired saxophonist from KC) all coming to MT at different times in August and September.
Just finished teaching and playing at KCBASSFEST. Fantastic faculty from all corners of the world. Mostly classical. Inspiring and humbling. Not one ego in the bunch. Check out Yae’s great photos if you are on Facebook.
An addendum. Somewhat sad news. Music at Plonk is ending as of August 21st. So please support in full till then. Wish I had nickle for everytime this has happened to me in my 54 years, since I was 12, of giving my life to playing music. “
* To musician friends, if you would like to add your message or on going projects like new albums on this website or news letter please contact me!
