A wonderful saxophonist Rob Scheps will be performing at Cikan House with Cheyenne John Henderson on piano, Bob Bowman on bass, and Adam Greenberg on drums on Tuesday, Sep 17th.
On Thursday, Sep 19th please join us to celebrate the new start of jazz nights at Open Range in Bozeman!
Vibraphonist Silas Stewart will move to Philadelphia to pursue his music career and he will have a concert at Cikan House on 21st with Craig Hall, Michael Steele, and Adam Greenberg. So please come to celebrate his news start!

On Tuesday, September 17th join the Rhythm & Ramble Quartet for night of cocktails and dancing at the gloriously rakish Devil’s Toboggan. Tyler de Caussin on guitar, Colby Tinsley on reeds & voice, Alex Platt on drums, and Anna Hatcher on upright bass.Band starts at 6pm, and plays until 8pm. JAZZ NIGHT STARTS ON THURSDAY NIGHT AT OPEN RANGE IN BOZEMAN!
On every Thursday from 9:00 – 11:00PM there will be live jazz at Open Range in Downtown Bozeman! The first jazz night will be on Thursday, September 19th with a jazz trio : guitarist Alex Nauman, bassist Bob Bowman, and drummer Brad Edwards. Nauman is one of the busiest guitarist in Billings area. He not only plays large variety of music but teaches music and organizes music events. Edwards is a jazz veteran from Billings and has played nationally/internationally. Bowman has toured around the world and been on many recordings that have won or been nominated for GRAMMY awards. He recently moved to West Yellowstone from Kansas City, MO where he was based for long time. They have played many times in Bozeman and Billings and it appears they never fail to fascinate audience with their sounds. Please come join them at Open Range on September 19th and support local jazz!!

ANNUAL WINEFEST & KISS THE PIG EVENT TO BENEFIT BELGRADE LIBRARY
Don’t miss the 16th Annual Winefest also “Swinefest” on September 20th at the Belgrade Holiday Inn Express!
Prominent public figures are prepared to pucker up at the first ever “Kiss the Pig” event to benefit the Belgrade Library on Sept. 20. The spirited “Swinefest” contest will be part of this year’s “Winefest,” an annual fund-raiser hosted by the Belgrade Community Library Foundation. There will be Silent Auction, Live Auction, Live Music, Games, Kiss the Pig, Food, and Wine! The live music by Montana Jazz Collective Trio : Bob Britton on piano, Geno Kries on bass, Adam Greenberg on drums. Tickets for the “Winefest/Swinefest” can be purchased at the Belgrade Library for $30 apiece, or $50 for a couple. Tickets also will be available at the door the night of the event for $35 or $60 for two.

The Bozeman Jazz scene sends another up-and-coming player out into the world this month, vibraphonist Silas Stewart, who is transferring to the vibrant (pun intended) Philadelphia jazz scene. In one of his last Bozeman performances before blastoff, he teams up with bassist Michael Steele, guitarist Craig Hall and drummer Adam Greenberg to deliver intense jazz standards honed in nearly two years of 10-hour-a-week practicing together as a group, achieving new levels of musicianship both individually and as a unit. In honor of Ellen’s 100th anniversary World-class composer Eric Funk has gathered dozens of his friends for a one-of-a-kind concert. Over 40 gifted musicians from the region will perform some of the greatest music of the 20th Century – Songs of THE BEATLES.In addition to Mr. Funk, gracing the stage will be… Jeni Fleming, Stuart Weber, MJ Williams, Ann Tappan, Craig Hall, Stefan Stern, Paige and the People’s Band, Matthew O’Sullivan, Jake Fleming, Adam Greenberg, Julie Gosswiller, Julia Cory…to name just a few. This husband and wife duo puts on a vintage inspired show that blends blues, swing, country and latin sounds. Performing hits from the roaring 20’s to modern classics and originals Sundae + Mr. Goessl utilize technique, technology and unique instrumentation to give this little band it’s big band sound. Mr. Goessl’s mesmerizing finger-style guitar dazzles and inspires while Sundae’s sultry vocal interpretations drip with charm and nostalgia.
