Bob and I have been on his gig trip and will be headed back to The Treasure State tomorrow. It’s been very warm in the Midwest now we have to get ready for the snow in Montana! SUNDAE + MR. GOESSL IN MONTANA
Sundae + Mr. Goessl will be back to Montana from October 1st to 12th!
This husband and wife duo puts on a vintage inspired show that blends blues, swing, country and latin sounds. Performing hits from the roaring 20’s to modern classics and originals Sundae + Mr. Goessl utilize technique, technology and unique instrumentation to give this little band it’s big band sound. Mr. Goessl’s mesmerizing finger-style guitar dazzles and inspires while Sundae’s sultry vocal interpretations drip with charm and nostalgia.

CUBA NIGHT AT THE MURRAY BAR IN LIVINGSTON
Cubongo will be performing Cuban and Brazilian dance music at The Murray Bar in Livingston, Friday October 4th from 9pm to midnight! Styles of dance music include Cha Cha, Salsa, Bolero, Son Montuno, Mambo, Samba and Funky Samba. The mix includes slower tempo songs and varies with fast tempo Salsa and Samba. It’s a musical fix for all levels of dancers.

ON SATURDAY AT THE ELLEN THEATRE IN BOZEMAN
In honor of Ellen’s 100th anniversary World-class composer Eric Funk has gathered dozens of his friends for a one-of-a-kind concert. Over 40 gifted musicians from the region will perform some of the greatest music of the 20th Century – Songs of THE BEATLES.In addition to Mr. Funk, gracing the stage will be… Jeni Fleming, Stuart Weber, MJ Williams, Ann Tappan, Craig Hall, Stefan Stern, Paige and the People’s Band, Matthew O’Sullivan, Jake Fleming, Adam Greenberg, Julie Gosswiller, Julia Cory…to name just a few. One of a kind, the Livingston Jazz Festival brings internationally recognized artists, jazz lovers, and lifelong learners together. Each year, over 500 participants enjoy featured artist concerts, after-hours jam sessions, daytime performances, and many educational workshops.
With all of this talent in one place we offer local schools the opportunity to work with our guest artists. Free of charge; college, high school, and middle school jazz bands are encouraged to perform for our guest clinicians, receiving feedback in a nurturing non-competitive environment.
Each day, several free educational workshops on topics ranging from improvisation and arranging to vocal and instrumental techniques are offered by our guest artists – free of charge!
