Every Friday, there is a Jazz Night at Red Tractor Pizza in Bozeman from 7:00p.m. to 9:00 p.m. On December 27th Adam Platt on piano, Bob Bowman on bass, and Alex Platt on drums will be making fantastic sounds! Many long time jazz fans in Bozeman have known Platt Brothers since they were young boys. Their spirits are the same, fresh and joyful, now with much more experiences. Also a real jazz veteran Bob Bowman, a bit older than them but super young at heart. This will be a very exciting and superb night of music! WAYNE SHORTER TRIBUTE AT CIKAN HOUSE
Join young and old jazz veterans Philadelphia vibraphonist Silas Stewart, New York tenor saxophonist Will Brown, and Bozemanites guitarist Craig Hall, upright bassist Michael Steele and drummer Josh Poole at The Cikan House Saturday, December 28 at 7 PM. The group will play all the songs, in order, from Wayne Shorter’s 1966 historic Blue Note recording “Speak No Evil,” followed by a scrumptious and libatious intermission and then some original music. Everett’s 8800 in Big Sky will be serving a prix fixe menu for NYE, with reservations available from 5:00 PM to 8:45 PM as their final seating for the night. Guitarist Alex Robilotta and bassist Eddie Tsuru will be playing music from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The menu will be $195 per person (add $65 to include wine pairings)/$95 for kids under 12.
