We’ve been having warm early spring days around Hebgen. We don’t like slushy ground but appreciate a warm sunny day anytime!
I bet some of you caught live jazz at The Tune Up Bar in Bozeman. They changed genre of music so there won’t be live jazz at the venue for a while. Although they keep live music on Saturdays and I believe jazz will be back again.

DID YOU SEE THE FULL MOON?
We love watching a full moon in Montana in a winter, especially with snow on the ground. The photo above was taken on December 28th 2020 as the full moon was rising. The latest full moon, on February 27th, was called “Snow Moon”. We caught it in the morning and it was just gorgeous!

Regarding Yae’s moon at sunrise photo. I don’t think moonlight in Vermont has anything on moonlight in Montana.
You all are aware of how the pandemic has affected live music of course. I just read an article about what jobs have been the most adversely affected.The performing arts are not even mentioned. Maybe not considered to be a job?

Last Friday, guitarist Alex Nauman’s live streams series “The Hang!” had Bozeman guitarist Craig Hall as a guest! As many of you know Craig has been greatly appreciated as a musician and educator in Montana for long time. If you missed “The Hang”, you still can catch the show on Alex’s YouTube channel. And “Misty” by Michel Petrucciani on piano and Stéphane Grappelli on violin. Probably my favorite version of the song.
