Although it has been very dry and warm around Hebgen lake, aspens are changing their color to golden yellow quickly. I’ve been foraging berries from Oregon grape, Chokecherry, and roses hips from wild roses. We appreciate the gift from the Mother Nature!

UPCOMING JAZZ & MORE CONCERTS

SEPTEMBER 17TH AT CIKAN HOUSE

From guitarist Craig Hall!
“Hi guys. Friday, September 17 mid west vocalist Alycia Duprey and Dr Scott Jeppesen will be here with Michael Steele, Josh Poole and me at The Cikan House  .This will be a goodn.’ We’ll monitor Covid dangers and will announce, as the concert nears, whether masks will be required. (Your individual input meanwhile is welcome.) You might remember Alycia as Alycia Vince, as she was known as in this region before moving to the mid west and getting hitched or whatever. Her style is one minute classic jazz, the next minute very brave, open and free.
Dr. Jeppesen has played with Bobby McFerrin, Burt Bacharach, friggn STEVIE WONDER, Manhattan Transfer, Steve Miller, Natalie Cole, Al Jarreau blah blah blah and teaches sax now at MSU Billings. We’ll be delivering classic and modern jazz.
Concert time 7 PM. Tix $25. Reservations are a must. We’ll hold the numbers down a tad for safety. (And some seats have already been reserved by Wyoming fans who will drive here for the concert.) Contact Craig Hall at craig@craighallmusic.com or 551-3496 for reservations. I’ll get right back to you. Then venmo me (Craig-Hall-13) or send me a check (1510 S Grand Ave) or whistle me down as I drive by downtown or something or just pay at the door (in that case LET ME KNOW if you decide you can’t make it after all. I’ll keep a waiting list.)addendum: I have fancy new guitar toys and a new good joke. Josh has one too. Alycia does too, though hers isn’t as funny. Scott’s you’ll have to get directly from him in private, maybe on break.  wwwWWWEEEEeee!!!”
