WEDNESDAY NIGHT AT NORDIC BREW WORKS IN BOZEMAN
From drummer Alex Platt! “Apparently this is possibly, kinda, maybe, a thing? We’ve been dating for a few months. I dunno, could get serious. Luca Rodoni, Alex Robilotta, Rob Kohler, and Alex Platt. Think what might’ve happened in an alternate universe if Miles had gone electric in ’63. Something like that. It’s the second set where we push the limits and possibly risk our jobs. But dinner is always good too. (No, really!!)”

FROM BOB BOWMAN
Hey folks! We’re headed to the Midwest August 11th – October 1st. Have a few things that Yae has listed. So we’ll miss you.
I played at the Independent in Big Sky last Friday with Craig Hall and Alex Platt. They both were at the top of their game and we had a blast. We played outside and it was beautiful. However, I noticed something that struck me. There was a large party from India or that neck of the globe. I think all related. They were listening intently and groovn’. 20s or 30s. Especially about an eight year old boy who was riveted to music. However the white Americans were oblivious and loud. I know I’m preaching to the choir, but other than folk and C&W, jazz is the only original American musical art form. Also more complicated and takes concentration for both musicians and listeners alike, but worth it. I guess it’s just more of the dummying of this country. I’m sorry for stepping on some toes, but extremely important to me since I’ve given almost my 69 years dedicated for this music that I know puts positive energy out there. What is to be done? I will step down from what’s left of my pulpit.
