The members of Club Flamenco deliver a style of music not often heard in the state of MT. Fusing the traditional rhythms of Flamenco with accents of American jazz. The band plays selections that are both familiar and refreshingly new to American audiences. Band founders Geno and April Kreis play lead and bass guitar. Percussionists Chrysti Smith and Doug Wales weave a tapestry of rhythms supporting the dialect. Flamenco dancer Nicole Loya brings the style to life onstage with traditional costume, castanets, and palmas, the hand-clapping rhythms essential to the sound of Flamenco.
