MONDAY NIGHT ON YOUTUBE
TOMORROW, Monday, October 26th, we are hosting YouTube Premiere of “Porch Concert With A View”! The concert was held on Oct 10th in Turney, MO, a beautiful country side.
Bob Bowman on bass, Roger Wilder on keyboard, Peter Schlamb on vibraphone, and John Kizilarmut on drums, and special guest Stanton Kessler on trumpet made gorgeous sounds at our friend’s lovely house. Some of Montana jazz fans have seen Peter and John’s performance when they visited MT. They love it here and want to come back again. Roger and Stan planned to visit the Treasure State this year but they had to cancel the trip because of you know what.
The concert video will start at 6:15PM MDT, 7:15PM CDT, 5:15PM PDT, … Bob and I will watch the concert as you do. Wherever you are, we all watch together. The quality of the sound doesn’t do justice to their performance but you will be able to see how amazing the band was! Oh, and please consider a donation to the band.

ON TUESDAY NIGHT AT DEVIL’S TOBOGGAN IN BOZEMAN
On Tuesday, October 27th from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Craig Hall on guitar and Michael Steele on bass will be back to Devil’s Toboggan! They will be playing some Benny Golson, Duke, Miles, and some nice, long, free, Montana wide-open simple grooves with room to breathe and explore. Please come down and support the live music!
If you plan to attend it would be helpful to contact the venue so they can arrange the limited seating.

It is sad to hear that great pianist Keith Jarrett will not play anymore because of his physical condition. I am lucky that I had chances to attend his live performances several times. Experiencing live music being created in front of you by wonderful musicians is something beyond words.
